Description
Google Summer of Code is a global program focused on bringing more student developers into open source software development. Students work with an open source organization on a 3-month programming project during their break from school.

KubeStellar participates as a mentor organization. We provide project ideas, mentors, and a welcoming community for students to learn and contribute.
Eligibility Criteria
Participants must be at least 18 years of age, a student or a beginner to open source software development. For detailed criteria, please refer to the official GSoC website.

Program Structure
Accepted contributors work on their project with the guidance of one or more mentors from KubeStellar. There are evaluations at the midpoint and end of the program.
